Set the Order and Options
Use "Sort by" to order files by name or modified date, or drag the tiles into place. Numbers in file names sort as numbers: 1, 2, 10.
For CSV files, turn on "Exclude headers from 2nd file onwards" to avoid repeated header rows. To mark where each file starts, use "Insert text between files", for example ---.
Merge and Download
Click "Merge Files" and the combined file downloads.
The file is named merged_file and keeps the extension of the first file.
Avoid duplicate CSV headers
Removes the first rows from the 2nd file onwards before merging. Multi-row headers work too: set the number of rows to remove, from 1 to 1000.
Merge in file name order
Numbers in file names sort as numbers, so file10 comes after file2. You can also sort by modified date or drag files into place.
Encoding and line endings stay as they are
Files are joined without conversion, so Shift_JIS, UTF-8, and other encodings are output unchanged. If a file does not end with a line break, one is added to match its CRLF or LF style.
Add a separator between files
Insert any text, such as ---, on its own line between files so you can see where each one begins.
